The My Vibe Network
This is the story of My Vibe Network, and how it came to be........
We are three women from Canberra who have been active in the networking scene for some time, and found that there were fantastic benefits for small businesses.
But we found one big problem, in that most of the existing networking groups were dominated by men. So we targeted My Vibe Network towards women who have small businesses or side hustles.

We understand that networking can be daunting, so we wanted to create a safe space for women who are ready to pursue their passions without feeling intimidated to do so.
The My Vibe Network now runs busy meetings every month, where local small business women get to share about their business in a warm, friendly and supportive environment, while also gaining new knowledge from a range of female business experts, who pass on their wisdom on a wide range of topics.
There is also an active and lively Facebook group, where women are encouraged to share about their business, celebrate their success and seek support.

Davina Brown
Hi, I'm Davina. I am the co-owner of Flames Fitness, and I am passionate about helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals and dreams. I am open to thinking outside the box. With 25 years+ experience in aerobics and a wealth of accumulated knowledge, I am here to support everyone on their journey, no matter the destination.
For me, networking provides a connection with others and without connection there can be no success. I created My Vibe along with Liz and Janie, because of my passion of bringing people together and supporting them to succeed.
As well as running a business, I'm also a mother to 4 amazing children, 3 cats and 5 dogs. If you think that’s hectic, then you also need to meet my donkeys, sheep and alpacas, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My favourite colour is red and I live up to my Scorpio star sign – intuitive, assertive, resourceful and adaptable.
Janie Allen
I'm Janie, the Principal Consultant with Styledge by Janie, a leading style and image practice based in Canberra - where I have a passion for helping women look and feel their absolute best, helping them to rediscover their femininity and love who they are from the inside out.
I came to networking after years as a sole trader, finding that it can be a very lonely experience - and the benefits began to pay off immediately.
Being a big fan of community, it was a no-brainer to create a networking group for women who were also feeling isolated in their business. It's a wonderful thing to see women supporting women.
On a personal note, I am an empty-nester, sun-chaser and big champagne lover! I have been married to Wayne for over 30 years, and am looking forward to living in my dream home by the beach, with the hope of becoming a glam-ma!
Liz Walton
I'm Liz, a multi-disciplinary therapist working in the wellness industry to lovingly help and support individuals to create a healthy mind and body, with a special passion for fertility.
I discovered networking while in the UK, as a way to find a client base for my business. Networking opened up a whole new world for me, It gave me the confidence to stand up and talk in front of people about who I am and what I do - while also providing a community of women for help, support and amazing friendships. Since moving to Australia, I have been widely active on the networking scene, including acting as chairperson and host of a number of groups.
I have been blessed to start My Vibe with two other amazing ladies, in order to support women and help them to experience the power that networking has to change their lives.
Having emigrated from the UK, I now live happily in Queanbeyan with my Australian husband and our beautiful daughter, who I had at the tender age of 46, and who now lights up my life.
